Fall 2020

What a year it has been!  Most of us have adapted to being at home in front of a computer screen rather than learning, working, and meeting in person. It has been quite a change, but as resilient professionals, we just need to embrace it and move on. I am pleased to report that practically all students enrolled this year adapted successfully to the new learning environment required by our new shared reality. All were determined not to let COVID-19 disrupt their learning and future careers. I am proud to say that TISOH has not missed a beat, with enhanced student services and the personal attention we have always been known for. This fall, students have even more to get excited about, with the implementation of interactive learning tools in all programs.

Summer 2020

Adapting to the new reality, TISOH has not been sitting still. Our classroom programs converted to remote video conferencing. A command center was setup in the faculty lounge to ensure that all classes operated properly with full remote support. Student services were setup to become more active than ever. I am so proud of the school community for being so positive and open to all ideas.

Spring 2020

One piece of big exciting news we'd like to share is that TISOH was awarded Supplier Partner of the Year by the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association. As most of you know, TISOH has made supporting industry associations mission-critical from day one. This is, therefore, an accolade of which we are very proud.

Spring 2019

One of TISOH's resolutions is to broaden our outreach with the community. You may have seen us on social media where members of the administrative staff made visits to local high schools and participated in their career fairs. You will see them out and about even more this year. We have also made strides in reaching out to veterans in providing them with education and job training.

Spring 2018

Around the TISOH campus you will see pineapples popping in every nook and cranny of the building.  It's even ingrained into our logo as a symbol for hospitality. Because we are a school specializing in hospitality, we wanted our school to be decorated with a sense of warmth and care to any visitor walking in. The spirit of hospitality is alive and well at TISOH and I hope everyone will be kind to each other this season.
